After eons of no updates, washed-up Golf™ World Champion Hudson Buttermilk becomes the first contestant to make their way through the multiplex of the Golf 2 fabric.

Golf 2 is a golf roguelike where you play as the cart. Drag the helpless Hudson across fairways and greens as he attempts to hit any balls that he passes by. Cope with potentially hours of gameplay and try to complete as many randomly generated courses as you can. Take Hudson along for the ride with you to defeat courses and enemies alike.

Troubleshooting

The browser version seems to work fairly well, but if you have issues with lag, framerate, levels taking time to load, or controls becoming unresponsive, we recommend you try downloading and playing the Windows executable.

You can also try pressing T to adjust the graphics quality, which should help everybody have a fair and equal chance to combat Golf 2.

Controls

  • WASD: move the golf cart
  • Move cursor: aim golf club
  • Left click: swing club

the game seems fun and all but how the hell did you make this game more resource intensive than minecraft at 32 render distance and fantastic graphics?

4 words: Game Maker Studio 2. We won’t be using it again, lol.

The Windows executable does run significantly better than the web version, so you could try using that instead if you want to improve your Golf 2 skills in the future.

Brilliantly chaotic, can't wait for golf 3!
